The Les Sybelles ski area links 6 popular French ski resorts together including La Toussuire and offers more than 300km of snowy slopes spread over 125 varied ski runs for all tastes and levels served by 72 ski lifts. La Toussuire itself has a pleasant, family-friendly ski area comprising 35 ski runs set between 1750m and 2400m of altitude.

Accommodation

In the Chalet Le Jardin d’Hiver in La Toussuire, you will find all the necessary home comforts for an unforgettable holiday in the French Alps. This beautiful chalet comfortably sleeps 14 people in 5 bedrooms laid out as follows:
4 bedrooms with double bed (2 with shower cubicle)
1 bedroom with mezzanine with double bed and 3 single beds
1 mezzanine/alcove bedroom with 1 single bed
2 bathrooms, one of which is equipped for guests with disabilities and one with a bath, 2 showers and 3 toilets. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. The open plan kitchen is fully-equipped with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, raclette machine, etc., everything you will need to prepared hearty, delicious meals for your family or friends in the evenings. Putting your feet up in front of the wood burner in the cosy lounge will be one of your favourite pastimes after a day of outdoor activities in La Toussuire. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer at your disposal too.

You can ski in La Toussuire’s own ski area and then when you’re ready for more challenges, you can move onto the Les Sybelles ski area (4th largest in France), accessible by the slopes, linking six local ski resorts (La Toussuire, Le Corbier, Saint Jean d’Arves, Les Bottieres, Saint Sorlin d'Arves and Saint Colomban des Villards). This ski area gives you access to 310 kilometres of snowy slopes consisting of 149 ski runs of which 25 are green, 56 are blue, 34 are red and 9 are black, all served by 73 ski lifts. Whether a fan of downhill skiing, telemarking, mono skiing, snowblading and snowboarding, you are in for hours of wonderful descents!

Nordic skiing addicts will enjoy the cross-country skiing tracks in La Touissure. Further on, alongside the ‘Croix de Fer’ mountain-pass, cross-country skiers can enjoy the pleasures of Nordic skiing, thanks to the three circuits at high altitude guaranteeing magnificent views.
Opposite the Ouillon mountain range, the highest Alpine pasture in Europe, you can also get a taste of the joys of snowboarding in the Sybelles snow park, with its boardercross and a freestyle zone divided into blue, red and black areas for different levels, with hips, boxes, table tops, walls, pyramids and even big airs to show off jumps and tricks.
