Just a 10-minute walk from your ski accommodation you will find the first shops, ideal for doing some shopping during your skiing holidays. You can also easily get to the village of Claux, located 6km from Vars via a free shuttle bus.
The Foret Blanche ski area links the ski resorts of Vars and Risoul located in the Southern French Alps. With its 185km of slopes, you will have plenty to do whether you prefer to ski or snowboard. The fully furnished ski accommodation is equipped with a functional kitchenette (vitroceramic hob, microwave oven / grill, dishwasher [except for studios]), a bathroom or shower room. The apartments are equipped with TV and Wifi access (extra charge).
One 1-bedroom apartment for 4 people and two studios for 2 people are equipped for people with disabilities.

With its 185 km of slopes, the « Foret Blanche » ski area, linking together the ski areas of Vars and of Risoul, is highly appreciated for the quality of its slopes and for its high-tech, modern network of snow canons guaranteeing snow all through the winter season.
The 118 slopes served by 51 ski lifts, promise hours of wonderful skiing whether you are a first-time skier or an expert skier. In Vars you have the possibility of trying night skiing on the floodlit slopes. There are also a variety of cross-country skiing circuits and paths for hiking and snow-shoeing.
Vars is also an extremely popular ski resort with free riders, by virtue of its narrow, snowy gullies, like the «Y», the «Funnel», the «Comma», the «Little Neck,» or the «Banana». The resort has 4 snowparks to satisfy all levels of snowboarders. The Varspark extends over more than 21 hectares with a boardercross and slalom courses. The Eyssina park is designed for fans of « slope style », whereas the Escondus park is a true delight for beginners and for “Jib” lovers (skiing without snow). For more advanced skiers, a “woodpark”, in the middle of the forest, enables you to snowboard on surfaces made entirely from local wood and stone.
Finally, those looking for an adrenalin rush will enjoy the challenge on the « Chabrieres » slope, with an altitude drop of 435 m and an inclination of up to 98%. This extremely steep descent is very often the scene of speed skiing records. You have the possibility of timing your descent and have this recorded for time immemorial, as you will receive a certificate at the bottom of the slope as proof ! Ready ?

Deposit given back after inventory carried out on the day of departure or sent by post.

In case of late arrival please inform your residence as soon as possible. You will be told the procedure to follow.

Book ski lessons for your children and the ski instructors will pick up your budding skiers at the reception of your residence! Sign up your children for group ski lessons from 5 or 6 years old up to 12 years old in the morning or afternoon.
