Places to visit

The village of Léon, the river Huchet, the forest of the Landes region (the biggest in Europe),
Hossegor, Capbreton, Biarritz less than an hour away, St Jean de Monts and the Basque country.
Close by: The little seaside resort of Saint-Girons Plage at 200 metres (including a small supermaket).
The rever Huchet, Lac de Léon (8km : hire of wind-surf, catamaran, sailing dinghy…, outings on horsebackl. The seaside resorts of Contis and of cap de l’Homy.

Not to miss : the festivities in Dax, the festivities in Bayonne, the celebration of the Madeleine at Mont de Marsan, lthe bullfights, gastronomy of the Landes region, pelote basque.
Various surfing competitions in Hossegor such as the WCT Quicksilver Pro France and the Roxy Jam at Biarritz. The international film festival at Contis Plage.

Miscellaneous

The deposit and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted : (dogs marked as dangerous not allowed, 1 pet only per apartment, up-to-date vaccination certificate). Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the camp-site

In case of arrival outside reception opening times, you MUST inform the residence, who will give you the procedure to follow

How to get to the resort

By car : From Bordeaux or Bayonne : N10 exit Castets-Vielle St-Girons, go past Castet and follow the D42 direction St Girons (go through Linxe). Go through St-Girons, ( signposts to the camp-site Campéole ) then the forest of Vieille St Girons direction St- Girons Plage. At the first round-about, turn right to arrive at the camp-site
