Saint Jean Montclar, situated in between the northern Alps and Provence, 10km south of the Serre Ponçon lake, is the epitome of a village ski resort, a true family resort on a wholly human scale. It enjoys a particularly sunny climate and has moreover been awarded the denominations « Ski France » and « Station Verte de Montagne ». Here you will appreciate the pure mountain air and the quality of its water, denominated “eau de source de montagne”.
It offers all the activities and entertainments of a large resort, at the same time conserving the charm and tradition of an authentic and friendly little village.

Accommodation at the resort

The residence, situated in the centre of the resort and very close to the shops and facilities, is on the edge of the forest and has a magnificent view. The nearest ski slopes are only 100m away and ski lifts at 400 m.
The apartments, the studio apartment with cabine for 2/4 and the 2-roomed apartment with cabine for 5/6 pers are all fully equipped : kitchenette (microwave/grill, electric hotplate, dishwasher), bathroom or shower with toilet, terrace or balcony.

The following are at your disposal: ski lockers, fee-paying internet conection and free outdoor car park.

Skiing area

• 45 km of ski slopes divided up over the 2 flanks of the mountain (Vallée de l’Ubaye and Vallée de la Blanche linked by chairlift)
• 31 ski slopes : 4 green, 13 blue, 10 red, 4 black
• 15 ski lifts : 4 chairlifts and 11 ski tows
• 20 km of cross country skiing tracks at the Fanget nordic skiing area (20 mn by car)

How to get to the resort

- By car: From Paris, via Lyon, Grenoble, then take the "col Bayard", Gap, direction Barcelonnettte and then "col St Jean"/ Seyne by D900.
From Marseille: A51 exit Tallard, direction Barcelonnette, then D900.

- By train: Gap railway station. Bus links ( until the end of March)
