Saint Jean Montclar, situated in between the northern Alps and Provence, 10km south of the Serre Ponçon lake, is the epitome of a village ski resort, a true family resort on a wholly human scale, which has been awarded the labels "village de montagne" and "station verte de vacances".
This family resort, which enjoys a particularly sunny climate, combines all the activities of a large resort with the charm and authenticity of a little, friendly village.

- Heated swimming pool (in July and August). Open from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 to 6.00 pm (swimming trunks obligatory). 2 pools are available : a paddling pool for children and a pool of 20 m for adults with a depth of 2,70 to 0,90 m.

Your holiday rental

The residence, situated in the centre of the resort and very close to the shops and facilities, is on the edge of the forest and has a magnificent view. Situated at a stone's throw from the shops and opposite the outdoor leisure centre, this 3-star residence is made up of 58 apartments, in a 4-storey building with two lifts. Footpaths are within easy reach.

The apartments, the studio apartment with cabine for 2/4 and the 2-roomed apartment with cabine for 5/6 pers are all fully equipped : kitchenette (microwave/grill, dishwasher, fridge, electric hotplate), bathroom or shower with toilet (separate toilet for apartments for 5/6 people), television (at extra cost)and terrace or balcony.

Terrace and small garden for the apartments situated on the ground floor or balcony for those situated upstairs.

It includes unlimited access to the municipal swimming pool, 3h tennis, keep-fit every morning, 2 family walks, sporting championships, 3h archery, fitness dancing, mini-golf, rally, creative workshops, children's club for ages 6/12 (if places available).
It offers discount or special prices : " Les P'tits Loups" child-minding, ski lifts, go-ape circuits at Parc des Ecureuils, Fort et Patrimoine (citadel, museums), animal park of the Montagne aux Marmottes, Apiland, "muséoscope" at the Serre Ponçon lake, Le Couralet restaurant in the mountains.

Miscellaneous

- Deposit (2 separate payments : apartment + cleaning) and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted : up-to-date vaccination certificate required. Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the residence.

How to get to the resort

- By car: From Paris, via Lyon, Grenoble, then take the "col Bayard", Gap, direction Barcelonnettte and then "col St Jean"/ Seyne by D900.
From Marseille: A51 exit Tallard, direction Barcelonnette, then D900.

- By train: Gap railway station, then bus or taxi to the resort. Shuttle until the end of March, MUST be reserved, giving number of people, time of arrival, 10 days ahead on 04 92 30 92 01

- By plane : Marseille Provence airport at a 2h drive.
