Your holiday rental

The residential park "L'étang de Besse" is situated on the edge of the forest, just 1.5 km from one of the largest beaches in the Vendée region, accessible on foot from the camp site, via a pine forest. At the entrance of the site is a little lake, surrounded by a footpath, ideal for a relaxing stroll.

At your disposal

Outdoor heated swimming pool with water slide and paddling pool, open from mid-May to mid-September, indoor heated swimming pool, open from April to October, bubbling bath, volleyball and tennis courts, basketball, petanque, table tennis (tennis and ping pong rackets available to borrow), children's playground, fee-paying Internet, laundry (with charge), bike hire and barbecues.

Accomodation

For your holiday rental, the park offers mobile homes for 4/6 pers and chalets for 6/8 pers all fully equipped with kitchen corner (microwave), shower, toilet, terrace (covered terrace for chalets) with garden furniture.

- Deposit (2 separate payments : apartment + cleaning) and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted : up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo required. Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the residence.
(only 1 pet per mobile-home)

Rental conditions

Price in euros, per accommodation and per week (7 nights).
In high season: Arrival on Saturday between 3.00 and 8.00 pm
Departure on Saturday, between 8.00 am and 10.00 am (please make an appointment at reception to indicate the inventory and your approximate departure time)
Outside July and August: In case of arrival outside reception opening times, you MUST inform the residence, who will give you the procedure to follow.

According to reception opening times, and at your convenience, you may wish to complete the administrative procedure (deposit, reception of inventory, tourist tax etc.) during the day. The apartment will be at your disposal and the keys given to you, from 5.00 pm onwards.

Saturday from 8.00 am to 12.00 and from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm

How to get to the resort

By car:
Motorway A11: Direction Bordeaux St Philbert de Grand lieu then Machecoul, Challans, St Hilaire de riez.
From the south: St Gilles Croix de Vie, at the roundabout (of the petrol station) turn right direction St Hilaire de Riez. After 600 m, turn right direction La Parée Préneau and follow this road for 2 km : L’Etang de Besse is on your right.

- By train: St Hilaire de Riez or St Gilles Croix de Vie railway stations (no taxi station at Saint Hilaire).

-By plane: Nantes airport (70km).
