Saint Arnoult :
The chapel (11th century) (generally named « chapel », the building is actually made up of two separate parts, with very different architecture: the priory chapel and the parish church).
The mont Canisy : The mont Canisy hillock spreads over 4 communes (Deauville, Tourgéville, Bénerville and Saint Arnoult). With a view over the whole of the "Flowered coast", the mont Canisy offers one of the most beautiful and most impressive panoramas. A hill rich in history, at one time the Lord's stronghold, divided up in 1793, an anti-submarine strategic point of defence in 1917-1918, coastal battery between 1935 and 1940, the most important artillery point in the Atlantic Wall, between Cherbourg and Le Havre from 1941 to 1944, because of its position facing the port of Le Havre and the bay of the Seine, during the final world conflict it was transformed into a concrete fortress. Many traces of this last era still exist : casemates and trenches for 155 mm canons, bunkers, cement shelters, firing posts etc.
But the most attractive part of this guided tour , remains the visit of the underground network, with its 250 m of tunnels, 25 cavities for barracks, six staircases leading up to the surface, 25 ammunition holds… a unique structure, 15 m under the ground!

The Rivière Morte :
The « Rivière Morte » , a haven of peace and quiet, runs through the commune over about 1,5 km. The riverbanks are exclusively pedestrian and at your disposal there are picnic tables, a petanque area and a children's playground. The river is also open to fishing lovers.

The "Flowered Coast" and its 11th century bathing establishments : Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Houlgate...

How to get to the resort

By car : A13 towards Rouen then Caen, exit Deauville/Trouville, Canapville. Go through Canapville D677 and after about 2,5 km, at the roundabout take the direction Caen - Saint Arnoult - Deauville race tracks. After 600 m, at the roundabout, turn left direction Saint Arnoult centre - Hippodrome. At the centre of Saint Arnoult, at the roundabout, turn left direction Tourgeville - Dozulé - Cabourg D278. The residence is 700 m on the left.

By train : Caen or Deauville railway stations.

By plane : Deauville Saint Gatien or Caen Carpiquet airports.
