The ski resort of Pelvoux, in the Southern Alps, is an authentic and natural village resort of the Hautes Alpes. It is in a magnificent and preserved setting, surrounded by summits such as theEcrins,the Pelvoux or theAilefroide. An ideal resort for a quiet and peaceful skiing holiday , far removed from the hustle and bustle of the big Alpine ski resorts . Pelvoux, which takes its name from the summit overlooking the resort , is a family ski resort , benefiting from a maximum amount of sunshine and a warm, friendly atmosphere, made up of two typical villages (Pelvoux and Vallouise). Its little mountain hamlets spread right to the end of the Vallouisevalley, as far as the Barre des Ecrins, at the heart of the Ecrins National Park.

Skiing area

The skiing area of the Pelvoux ski resort offers little ski slopes for all the family, bathing in the sunshine of the Hautes Alpes. The bottom of the ski slopes is particularly suitable for beginners. The top of the skiing area offers ski slopes that are technically more difficult and offers good skiers a place for off-piste skiing that is well-reputed in the Southern Alps. A ski-in return to the resort is guaranteed thanks to the artificial snow on 20 hectares of the resort’s ski slopes.

Your holiday rental

The Residence Le Palatin is situated 200 m from the centre of the village ofPelvoux, in the Hautes Alpes, at the departure point of the ski lifts and at the foot of the ski slopes of this family ski resort in the Northern Alps. Made up of two 3-storey buildings with lift, it is situated just next to a restaurant and to a child-minding centre. There is a general food store 200 m from the residence. There are 2 sports shops (rental and sales of skiing material) at 250 m. Grocery at Vallouise (3 km). The residence Le Palatin offers a (free) fitness room and a sauna (with entrance fee).

The holiday apartments, from the studio apartment for 4 to the 2/3-roomed apartment for 5/6 pers are all fully equipped: kitchenette (micro-wave / grill and dish-washer), bathroom or shower room and generally a separate toilet. Television at extra cost.

Some 4-person studio apartments are equipped for persons of reduced mobility

- Deposit and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Rental conditions

Price in euros, per accommodation and per week (7 nights).
Arrival on Saturday between 5.00 and 8.00 pm
In case of late arrival, you MUST inform the residence on Saturday before 8.00 pm, who will give you the procedure to follow
Departure on Saturday, before 10.00 am

Possibility of booking a stay from Friday 16/12 to Friday 23/12/11.

According to reception opening times, and at your convenience, you may wish to complete the administrative procedure (deposit, reception of inventory, tourist tax etc.) during the day. The apartment will be at your disposal and the keys given to you, from 5.00 pm onwards.

How to get to the resort

- By car: A48 motorway to Grenoble, then RN91 to Bourg d’Oisans,RN91 to Col du Lautaret (remember to check that the mountain road is open), Serre Chevalier then Briançon. Then direction Gap RN 94. At l’Argentière la Bessée direction Vallouise (10 km). At Pelvoux, take « Station La Blanche », left at the bridge in the centre of the village, the residence is 200 m after the chair-lift.
