Montignac is situated at the heart of the Périgord Noir, in Dordogne, 25 km from Sarlat la Caneda and from the Eyzies de Tayac, 46 km from Périgueux, 99 km from Bergerac, 180 km from Bordeaux and 500 km from Paris.

It is a town steeped in history with its medieval market place, its half-timbered houses built on piles, wash-houses and fountains made from the local yellow stone, and of course the famous Lascaux caves

Miscellaneous

- Deposit (2 separate payments : apartment + cleaning) and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted : up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo required. Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the residence.

Rental conditions

Price in euros, per accommodation and per week (7 nights).
Arrival on Saturday between 5.00 and 8.00 pm
In case of late arrival, you MUST inform the residence, who will give you the procedure to follow
Departure on Saturday, between 8.00 and 10.00 am

According to reception opening times, and at your convenience, you may wish to complete the administrative procedure (deposit, reception of inventory, tourist tax etc.) during the day. The apartment will be at your disposal and the keys given to you, from 5.00 pm onwards.

How to get to the resort

- By car: A10 motorway direction Orléans, then direction Limoges A71, then A20 and RN21 as far as Périgueux.
From Bordeaux : N89 or A89 to Périgueux then Montignac (exit Montignac/Lascaux)
At Montignac town centre, take direction Grottes de Lascaux/Chapelle Aubareil and turn right after 200 m (after Teyssier "foies gras").


- By train : Périgueux, Sarlat or Le Lardin Saint Lazare railway station.

By plane
Périgueux, Brive or Bergerac airports.
