Your holiday destination

Hourtin port, on the Atlantic coast, is an ideal family resort and a paradise for children. Above all it is a dynamic resort, a wonderful holiday destination, on the edge of the Landes forest, beside the large Hourtin-Carcans lake, the biggest natural lake in France, at the heart of the Médoc Bleu region.

Accommodation at the resort

This Residence is situated directly on the marina and is made up of 3 small buildings, placed around a central garden. It is just 300m from the lake of Hourtin Carcans and its beaches.

The apartments, from the studio apartment for 2 to the 3-roomed apartment for 6 pers, are all fully equipped with : kitchenette (microwave, vitroceramic hotplates and dishwasher, except in studio apartments), bathroom with toilet, television (with supplement, fee-paying wi-fi internet access and terrace or balcony.

The following are at your disposal: An open air, heated swimming pool, open from mid-April onwards, a restaurant (open from April onwards, with possibility of half-board) and a free outdoor car park.

How to get to the resort

· By car: Motorway to Bordeaux. At Bordeaux, take exit N°8, direction Lacanau - Le Verdon, follow signs to Lacanau,St Hélène, then Carcans . In Carcans, follow directions to Hourtin, then the port.

· By train: Bordeaux or Lesparre railway station, bus or taxi links (according to the time of year).

·By ferry. Take the ferry at Royan, when you arrive at Verdon, follow directions to Lesparre, then Hourtin or take the road to the lakes.

Two 2-roomed apartments are equipped for persons with reduced mobility or for the handicapped (with shower). It is recommmended that the person be accompanied, because the kitchen cupboards and the microwave are placed high up.
