The Fouras peninsula, situated at the mouth of the Charente, stretches over 4 km with its 5 fine sandy beaches as well as its 3 harbours protected from the swell of the sea by the islands of Aix, Oléron and Ré. This sea-side resort, reputed for bathing in the XIXth cenury, is planted with green oaks and pines and offers its visitors a peaceful, natural haven.

Your holiday rental

Opposite the south beach and overlooking the ocean, the Residence nestling in a little creek, surrounded on one side by the fortifications of the Tour Vauban and on the other by the landing stages which jut out into the sea, is just 350 m from the town centre and 40 m from the sea.

It comprises two buildings of 2-3 storeys (with lift to 2nd floor), built around a central swimming pool. This residence, at the edge of the sea, has a magnificent view the île d’Aix and the île d’Oléron

At your disposal

The following are at your disposal: non-heated outdoor swimming pool, with paddling pool (10.00 am to 8.00 pm) open from mid-May to the end of September, fee-paying internet connection point, a launderette (with charge) and a free outdoor car park or fee-paying secure car.

Accomodation

The very varied apartments (some of them have a mezzanine), ranging from the studio apartment for 2/3 pers to the 3-roomed apartment for 7/8 pers, are all fully equipped : kitchenette (microwave and dishwasher), bathroom or shower, separate toilet, fee-paying wifi access, television (with charge), balcony or loggia

All the cabine-entrances are equipped with two bunk beds
All the mezzanines are equipped with two single beds
The beds for 2 are either pull out beds, sofa beds or double beds

Just one 2-roomed apartment for 4 (not with sea view)is equipped for persons with reduced mobility (shower room with toilet) It is situated on the first floor, with access by lift.

Miscellaneous

- Deposit and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post during the week following.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted : up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo required. Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the residence.

Price in euros, per accommodation and per week (7 nights).
Arrival on Saturday between 5 and 8 pm
In case of late arrival you MUST inform the reception, who will give you the procedure to follow
Departure on Saturday, before 10 am

How to get to the resort

- By Car: From Paris, Motorway A10 exit Surgères, direction Rochefort and La Rochelle, exit Fouras.
At Fouras, take direction of the south beach and follow the signposts to Odalys.

- By train: Rochefort railway station

By plane: La Rochelle Laleu airport (35 km from Fouras).
