Lake Garda, a magnificent, sunny mountain lake, is the biggest lake in northern Italy. The water is brilliantly blue and amazingly clear. The ancient villages on the water's edge are typical of the region. With their narrow, winding streets and charming terraces they attract many a tourist.

The Residence « Virgilio » is situated 1.5 km from the internationally renowned spa centre of Sirmione and 100 m from the lake.

Opened in spring 2005, the residence offers all possible comfort :
private garden, swimming pool, private garage and lifts.
Outdoor car park and possibility of indoor car park (to be paid on the premises and with prior booking )

How to get to the resort

By plane :
Paris/Milan or Paris/Verona

By car:
Coming from Lyon : take the A43 direction Chambéry, St Jean de Maurienne, Modane ; then the A32 direction Turin; then follow the E84 which becomes the A4 direction Milan, Brescia. Near Brescia, take the A4/E70 and take the exit SIRMIONE (about 30 kms). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and continue on the SP13. At San martino della Battaglia, take Via Dei Colli Storici then Via Salvo d’Acquisto. Enter Colombare. Take the SS11 : Via Brescia, left : Via Colombare, then right : Via Sirmioncino and finally right : Via Liguria where you will find the residence

Coming from Marseille : take the A5 direction Aix-en-Provence; then follow the A8 direction Nice, San Remo; continue on the A10 direction Genova;take the A7 direction Tortona, Milan; then follow the A21 direction Piacenza, Cremona, Brescia. Places to go

Desenzano Its Roman villa dating from the 4th century, its medieval castle and its "Civico Archeologico" museum.

Sirmione: The Catullo caves (Roman archaeological zone).

Brescia: Town known for its very ancient metallurgical tradition. A visit of the ancient Roman vestiges is not to be missed : its Roman rotunda, il duomo, its temple and its amphitheare represent the most important group of archaeological remains in Lombardy.

Verona: Its Roman arena, its castle « il castellovecchio » and its museum, the « Civico d’Arte” museum.

«Gardaland» (20km to Castelnuovo da Garda). The biggest theme park in Italy and also one of the best in Europe. A delightful outing for young and old alike. Open from April to September

Le «Parco Natura Viva»: It contains numerous species of flora and fauna, faced with the threat of extinction. Open from March to October.
