Guzet is a lovely little village resort in theAriège region at the heart of a pine forest. This authentic ski resort in the Pyrenees is made up of little, traditional chalets which respect perfectly the unspoiled and preserved nature of the resort. A magnificent, peaceful setting, ideal for a family skiing holiday. Guzet has a good skiing area, 42 km of ski slopes, right in the middle of nature, taking you up to an altitude of over 2000 m, amidst pine trees and pure white snow, with superb views over the mountain tops of the Pyrenees.

Skiing area

The skiing area of the ski resort of Guzet in the Pyrenees is made up of 33 slopes divided over 3 sectors with a variation in altitude of nearly 1000 m. The sector of Prat Mataou is ideal for beginners with its lovely, easy slopes, which wind in and out between the pine trees. The sector of la Combe of Guzet offers wide slopes and a snowpark. The sector of the Freychet, situated at the top of the skiing area and accessible by means of a chairlift, consists of slopes which are technically more difficult, for advanced skiers, with superb views over the peaks of the Pyrenees

Miscellaneous

- Bed and bathroom linen not included and not available to hire.

- Deposit (2 separate payments : apartment + cleaning) and tourist tax to be paid on the premises.
The deposit is given back after inventory on the day of departure or by post.
The accommodation should be left perfectly clean. Otherwise a statutory sum will be kept from the deposit.

Pets admitted (only one pet per apartment) : up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo required. Dogs are to be kept on a lead within the residence.

In case of late arrival, you MUST inform the residence, on Saturday before 8.00 pm who will give you the procedure to follow

According to reception opening times, and at your convenience, you may wish to complete the administrative procedure (deposit, reception of inventory, tourist tax etc.) during the day. The apartment will be at your disposal and the keys given to you, from 5.00 pm onwards.

Reception open every day from 8am to 10am and from 4pm to 7pm, Saturday from 8am to 12.00 and from 3pm to 8pm.

- By car: A64 motorway Toulouse Tarbes, take exit number 20 St Girons.
At St Girons, take direction Guzet

- By train: St Girons railway station (42km) or Boussens railway station (then SNCF bus to St Girons and shuttle to Guzet in the winter)

- By plane :Toulouse/Blagnac airport (175 km).
