Saint François Longchamp is a typical alpine village in a magnificent setting, nestling between the Lauzière mountain range and the Cheval Noir massif. The big skiing area Saint François Longchamp-Valmorel, the fifth-largest in the Savoie region, situated just below the Madeleine pass, links the Maurienne and the Tarentaise regions .

Accommodation at the resort

The residence is at the heart of the ski resort, 50 m from the shops and 150 m from the nearest ski lifts.
The apartments, from the 2-roomed apartment for 4 pers to the 4-roomed mezzanine apartment for 8 pers, are all fully equipped : kitchenette (vitroceramic hotplate, oven, dishwasher,), bathroom or shower with toilet, television (with supplement, balcony

The following are at your disposal: ski lockers, launderette ( with charge), fee paying wifi internet connection, fee-paying indoor car park (limited number of places) and free outdoor car park.

• 54 ski lifts : 36 ski tows, 14 chairlifts, 2 telecabins, 2 chairlift-cabins
• Special snow-surf area, the Lune Bleue boarder cross
• Cross country skiing at Montaimont (13 km away) : 40 km of tracks.

How to get to the resort

- By car: A43 motorway to la Chambre, exit n°26 la Chambre, then CD213 direction St François Longchamp, Col de la Madeleine (12km).

- By train: St Avre / La Chambre railway station (TGV from Paris) Bus service provided to the resort.

- By plane: Chambéry airport (90km), Lyon (165km), Geneva Cointrin (170km).
